Cinque Terre
You'll find rugged beauty and a slow pace in the Cinque Terre. Named for the five towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. They are far away from the traffic and the stress of the cities. Here Mediterranean trees and plants grow up spontaneously representing one of the best-preserved natural areas of the Mediterranean, a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1997.
