The year 2019 marks the 500-year anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci in France.
To remember this date, the Louvre Museum in Paris, which holds the largest collection in the world of da Vinci’s paintings (including 22 drawings), will host an 4 month exhibition of the Italian scientific painter various work: 170 pieces between paintings and other form of his work (drawings, sculptures etc).
This extraordinary and unique exhibition is the largest collection of the genius's work which has ever been done and it will be located in the rooms of the museum under the Pyramid - his worldwide renown Monnalisa will instead stay where it is currently shown.
It opens on October 24th, 2019 and will be available to visit until February 24th, 2020.
