Trenitalia’s train schedules and fares are typically released between 90-120 days in advance, so you can buy your train tickets 2 months ahead of when you’ll need them. We can book it for you as a service included in your itinerary (so you do not have to stress the day of!) and select the most convenient times based on your preference.

Buying tickets soon after they’re released gives you a better chance of securing seats during busy travel days and may give you access to sales or ticket discounts that are only available for advance purchases. Since tickets can be bought until the train departs, you can never be sure of how many tickets are left or if the train is still available, when buying the tickets the same day. Remember U.S. prescriptions generally aren’t accepted at European pharmacies. Bring your meds in their original labeled containers and a copy of the prescription or doctor’s note (especially if they’re controlled substances).

Renting a car in Europe is generally convenient and easy — especially if you plan to explore rural areas where the trains do not run or are not conveniently located.
